Hey, I’m Chlo - photographer, mum of two, FIFO partner wrangler, and professional sunset chaser.
I grew up on sixty-five acres along a river in Queensland, where I spent my afternoons riding dirt bikes and watching the sky turn gold. That’s where I first learnt to chase light - the way it moves, the way it changes everything it touches.
Now I live in Perth with my little ones, building a life that’s equal parts motherhood and art. With my partner away for weeks at a time, I find comfort in the small things - the warmth of home, the laughter of my kids, and knowing that no matter where he is, we’re looking up at the same moon.
Photography has become my grounding place - my way of staying connected when life feels spread across states and seasons. It’s how I slow down, create, and help other women see that their own story is nothing short of art.
Whether we’re in my Swan Valley studio or under a glowing sky, my sessions are calm, intentional, and filled with laughter. I’ll gently guide you, notice the tiny details - the light catching your hair, the way your baby fits perfectly against your chest - and turn them into images that feel like home.
Because for me, it’s never just about photos.
It’s about connection - even when we’re worlds apart.
Why I do what I do
Most days it’s just me, the kids, and my creativity here in Perth while my partner’s away on FIFO.
Photography is my heartbeat - the thing that keeps me grounded when motherhood feels a little wild. It’s connection, purpose, therapy and art all in one.
Every Mum who steps in front of my camera reminds me that this season deserves to be seen. The messy, the beautiful, the tiny in-between moments - they’re all part of your story, and I want you to feel proud of every bit of it.
A few things about me
I’m obsessed with the smell of summer rain and fresh cut grass.
My kids have taught me to slow down and see beauty in the small everyday moments.
I’ll 100% stop mid-conversation to point out how the light’s hitting something, like a dog spotting a squirrel.
A blue V over tea every time.
I pour my heart into everything I do, sometimes it bites me in the a$$ but when it comes to photography, it will forever be the biggest blessing.
And yes, I’ll be scream crying for you behind the camera during your session when we get those perfect shots.

Think less awkward posing, more hanging-out-with-a-friend-who-happens-to-take-iconic-photos.
We’ll chat, laugh, and I’ll gently guide you so you never feel stiff or unsure. I’ll notice the wind catching your hair, the way your bub leans into you, the look your partner gives you when you’re not looking and I’ll turn those moments into art.
Whether we’re in my Swan Valley studio or out in the Perth Hills, my sessions are relaxed, real, and a little bit iconic (if I say so myself).
“I recently had my maternity & newborn shoot done with Chlo. My partner & I went into the maternity shoot a little nervous as we’re both not very photogenic, but Chlo made the experience memorable and helped guide us with poses we felt comfortable with.
At our newborn shoot, Chlo had the studio warm, cosy, and ready with props and outfits, giving us so many options. It’s impossible to pick favourites when every photo is 10/10 — you can tell this is more than a job for Chlo, this is her artwork.
